Who we are

One step at a time, one project at a time!

We are a group of friends who want to help others, with a particular focus on children, and so we decided to found IMANI4children and commit to raising funds for the many projects around the world.

I’ve been a lawyer for over thirty years and have always believed in the value of personal commitment. I’ve been volunteering in the world of sports for some time, where I’ve seen firsthand the power of participation. Together with some friends, I decided to found Imani4Children, which focuses on African children, to try to provide some additional opportunities and hope to those who have much less. Giving a little of your time and energy to someone can make a difference!

After 37 years in tourism and nearly 100 countries visited, I have had the privilege of getting to know the world in its many facets, meeting people and communities who often live in difficult conditions. Traveling has opened my eyes to the real needs of people and sparked in me the desire to give back at least in part what life has given me.
The idea for this project was born from a sincere conversation with my friend Roberto Guida: a concrete way to commit together and try to bring, with small shared gestures, a positive change where it is most needed, especially thinking of the children.
I deeply believe that acting with others, combining different experiences and sensitivities, is the way to turn dreams into reality by helping with small concrete actions.

I’ve been working in human resources in banking for many years, an experience that has taught me the value of people, listening, and collaboration. I’ve traveled extensively, and along the way, I’ve discovered countries and, above all, children living in difficult circumstances and in need of help. When some friends suggested I start this organization, I immediately accepted, confident in their professionalism and human value.
This isn’t simply a volunteer organization, but a community of people who choose to put their hearts and souls into it, with the hope of offering children a better future.
I decided to be part of it. And to believe in it, every day.

I was born in the “fortunate” part of the world that allowed me to study, have a job I loved (project manager at the European Space Agency), and retire.

Now I want to dedicate my energy to those born in areas that do not allow for this perspective, with particular attention to children who must continue to dream. I joined Imani4Children with pleasure and enthusiasm.

Graduated in Engineering, with a life in the aeronautical sector and in the world of amateur sports; experiences that taught me the importance and potential of teamwork, aimed at goals of common interest.
I strongly believe in the value and capabilities of volunteering, a crucible to best express the desire to contribute to the common good and, in particular, to those who do not have our life opportunities.

I joined the I4C initiative without hesitation because I appreciated the determination of the founders and I am confident it can help, with concrete projects, families and children in an area where everything is lacking.

Roberto Pasqua Di Bisceglie

I’ve always traveled. It’s part of my life, my work, and my identity. Every time I meet people in different parts of the world, I realize how we are all connected by an invisible thread: desires, fears, the hope of giving our children a better future. Since becoming a father, I see the world with different eyes. I often think of all those children who do not have the same opportunities as my son — and I feel I cannot remain indifferent.
Supporting Imani4Children for me is a way to give back a bit of what I’ve received from my travels, from the people I’ve met, from the experiences that have helped me grow. It’s a gesture of trust in humanity, in each of our abilities to make a difference, even with little. I believe that helping a child means believing in the future.
And I want to keep believing in the future.

I enthusiastically accepted to found Imani4children with other friends because I firmly believe that every child deserves a dignified childhood and future.
I have already had several experiences in Africa and have seen firsthand how much there is to do to help!

Our Association will seriously commit to carrying out projects that adhere to our beliefs.
But as an African proverb says: “If you dream alone, it’s just a dream. If you dream together, it’s the beginning of reality.”
