As our first project, we've chosen to build a school in Mauritania.
To complete it, we need to raise €20,000, and we'd like to do so as soon as possible!
Building a school in Mauritania is our concrete response to those who seek attention, support, and an opportunity to grow. We do this in collaboration with an established and reputable local organizations because we believe in the power of networks and the effectiveness of those who are familiar with the community’s needs.
We have chosen Bambini nel Deserto, NGO, which has been operating in Africa for years, and we appreciated the seriousness of the people involved, their style, and the transparency of their projects.
We want to offer a welcoming place and provide the opportunity to learn, smile, and imagine; because every child, no matter where they are born, deserves to be helped towards a better tomorrow.

School situation in November 2025
As of November 2025, the school’s condition is as shown in the photos: four poles and four tarps.
We want to make an effort to offer a more dignified and safe environment for these children.
School Project
The Bambini nel Deserto association, which will manage the school’s construction, is in Zargha and has sent us these designs and the rendering for the new school.
Example of the school we want to build
Massimo, from Bambini nel Deserto, is in Mauritania and sent us a video of a school they have already built. As Massimo explains, our school in Zargha will be a bit larger because it is the only one in the region.
Laying of the first brick of "our" school: 19 gennaio 2026
In this video (only in Italian) , our friends from Mauritania show us the laying of the first brick of “our” school, introduce us to the local team that will build it, and show us some of the children who will be able to study and play protected from the wind, sand, and heat. The school will be completed in the coming months.
